This is an awesome kid ATV. It really moves and has the power to handle small hills very well. My son drove around our backyard witch is half flat and half hilly without any problems. It does have plastic wheels like they all do so with wet grass or mud the tires will spin a little but otherwise very good traction. As said in previous reviews the instructions aren’t the greatest. They’re mainly pictures. If you have a little bit of patience it’s easy enough to figure out. The only draw back I see is the battery. Although the battery seemed to hold a charge fine for most of the day I would still like to order another but they cost $130. Considering I paid $456 for the entire vehicle $130 bucks for a battery is a huge chunk of that. Others have said you don’t get much ride time off of one battery charge but I think a lot of that depends on how and where and even the length of time its used.

This is for 2 young boys. They got it from Santa for Christmas this year. We had a big snow right before Christmas and they were able to use it on the ice and snow with little problems. It got stuck a little bit in the slippery spots, but they were able to get it unstuck without any problem (or help from adults).
The setup of this toy was really easy. We did it in less than 30 minutes. I did not like the back orange rail though. The screw came out within the first few hours.
Overall the boys love it and had a blast. Hope it lasts as long as the other riding toy we’ve had in the past.

Santa brought this Twin 800 for my 5 year old son. It is the closest thing we could find to a real 4 wheeler that wasn’t gas powered or too fast for a 5 year old. The Polaris is really big and is actually bigger than a real 4 wheeler that one of the other boys in the neighborhood received this Christmas. We also have a John Deere battery powered tractor and it looks like a “baby toy” compared to this ATV. He has really enjoyed riding it and it climbs hills that the John Deere tractor won’t so he has been able to go more places on this ride on. Worth it!

After running around town to several stores, and no inventory, the purchase of this online was a great price (my purchase price was the same as Walmart at the time). The Quad came shipped in a box and took 30 minutes to put together. Tip: Make sure you find the instruction page with the “screws” descriptions. $5 S&H and no sales tax was a great deal too.
The ride is great. Rated to 150lbs, so my child can use it for several years without outgrowing it (like a elec. car). The length of the ride is good. The ride is about 45 minutes on a 2 hour charge. especially on smooth surfaces.

We purchased this Polaris Twin 800 for our 8 year old and are very happy with it. We also purchased the Polaris RZR and love it as well. These 24V really are more powerful and the boys, 8 and 10, can finally ride around our wooded yard with ease. The old 12 volts could not make it up the grassy slopes and were always getting stuck, but the 24V even gets through the mud! Very happy with both of the Polaris vehicles.

We bought this as a gift for our little boy’s fourth birthday. He loves it! The battery lasts for a long time, and it has pretty good traction. The only drawback is that it will flip. He hit an exercise ball in the yard, and the four-wheeler just flipped straight over. Always wear a helmet while riding – beware and be safe!!!

Our boys love it– but can’t wait to get outside. It slides on our basement floor– one even tries to make it “drift”. Good for kids up to 12 years old.

My son started out with the standard 12V ride-on from Toys R Us. After many many hours of use, he outgrew it. He loved riding his old one so much that I searched high and low for something that would accommodate his size. This is the perfect ride-on for the older kids. It allows up to 150 lbs, so he will not outgrow it before he simply wears it out. We’ve had it for 9 months, he is a CRAZY driver, and it shows no signs of wear except the tires get scuffed up. Great product!

We received this item very quickly, great price, great shipping cost! Very powerful with the 24 volt battery. We have the 12 volt version as well and none of my kids want to drive that one anymore!

We received our Polaris this week and it is amazing. We have three boys; 9, 7, and 4 1/2 and it works for all of them. We only let the 4 year use the low speed, however. The high speed is fast enough that our 9 year old is even impressed. We wanted a ride-on that would work well for all of our kids and this is definitely it. Two of them can ride together and not be over the weight limit, which is also nice. This has already provided hours of enjoyment for our boys and we are very happy with our purchase.
